...but I'm not in Iowa anymore. Shall I annotate that on your poll?

2. Yeah, I should've opened that poll up a bit more... |

7. Along those same lines... |
|
...my wife, who isn't living in Iowa either, earned degrees from both Buena Vista and UofI. Which should she mark?

2 kids, an ex-wife and a new wife made it kind of hard to afford even that, not to mention the time it took away from the kids!!

....but I still consider myself an Iowan.
I transferred from Iowa State to Drake. WORST decision in my life.

I threw this poll out there on a lark, and should've thought it through better. I'm the worst poll-poster EVAH!

I don't live in Iowa anymore, but I'll always consider myself an Iowan, I think. I grew up in NE Iowa and went to Grinnell, but spent a summer at UNI, a summer at Iowa, and a couple semesters after graduation at Iowa State. I'm kinda glad I spent some time at each of the universities; it's nice being at least somewhat familiar with each of them, and it made the summers a *huge* change of pace from Grinnell. :)

14. I graduated with a general studies degree |
|
at Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. I started my college education at Westmar University in LeMars. They closed before I even completed one semester. So I went to Buena Vista Universtity in Storm Lake, for a semester. Best college I ever went to, but it was pretty expensive. Then I went to Western Iowa Tech. I've taken a few police science classes, a few graphic design classes, a few history, philosophy, astronomy, chemistry, and finance classes. I even took a class that studied movies. :-) That was fun. I'm going to go back, but I don't know what I really want to do with my life...

15. I started out at Iowa... |
|
...then I transferred to ISU. Talk about culture shock--going from Iowa to ISU.
I loved both schools.
Each school has its own, very-distinctive personality. I was blown away by the cultural differences between Iowa and Iowa State.
I graduated from ISU with a degree in journalism.
