Edwards in CR today for Loebsack

There was quite a crowd at the Blue Strawberry today to hear both Edwards and Loebsack speak of their plans to put America back on the right track. All-in-all, it was a very nice event for the Loebsack campaign. (Both Dave and Sen. Edwards sounding alarms on healthcare for all Americans, affordable higher education and a minimum wage hike.)

If you have some extra cash, consider making a contribution to the Loebsack campaign. Iowa cannot afford another term with an ineffective and uncaring representative.

1. I need to know the secret

How do you find out ahead of time where any of the candidates are speaking? I am sick of finding out that Edwards will be 45 min. away and it starts in 30 minutes.
I've donated to practically everyone, signed up for the newsletters, check the websites regularly and can find nothing.

I complained about this during Kerry's campaign. I finally subscribed to the RNC website, because they always had Kerry's appearances listed front page. I could find nowhere on his site where he would be.


I feel like the wallflower who doesn't get invited to dance.

3. If you are in Linn County

You can keep an eye on the http://www.LinnCountyDemocrats.org site. I'm helping maintain it and we're very good about getting candidate appearances listed.

(Did you know Sen. Bayh is going to be at the Linn County Democratic headquarters tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.?)

4. Sign up on Loebsack's website for email from the campaign

I would guess Braley and anyone else would have the same capability. Believe me Dave's campaign is great at getting the word out:\

5. I might have to sign up for Braley's emails

because his events hasn't been updated since March.

6. I've only gotten 2 emails from him

Neither one mentioned any events coming up. Only support the troops and about the radio address.

Same with Culver, is he campaigning anywhere?

I once contacted Nussle throught the web and I get more darn email from him than from anyone on our side.

You would think that our candidates would be updating and emailing every freaking day to let people know what's going on.
