1. I figure there is 35 - 40% who vote regressive in this state
no matter what. I believe the Dems have a less solid voting base. But this year I believe there will be a huge anti-Bush backlash, even down to state house races. Plus I think even some mostly solid regressives won't vote. Can't support their own party and won't vote Dem, so they won't vote.
Here is hoping and praying that Chet will put on an incredible final 2 months and especially a great final two weeks, that just shreds Nussle for his neanderthal voting record and especially his budget record.
The regressives have put up what I believe is their worst possible candidate. Even they admit he stinks. So Chet has a lot to exploit. Let us hope he does so.
And don't forget those LTTEs to help point out some of Nussle's special qualities, like family values.
