Iowa needs poll workers for November....sign up!

I'm sorry I don't have more info. I heard this on the radio, and I was driving with my two small children, so I didn't hear everything.

However, I did hear a news story about Michael Mauro, the state auditor, calling for volunteers to be poll workers in the upcoming November elections.

There was some talk about the long hours. Apparently, poll workers work the entire day, which starts at 7 am and ends when the polls close.

I am going to do this, and I thought that perhaps other Iowa DUers might be interested as well.

I will look for additional information about this, and I'll post as I find it.
