i met mike jones today - ha
he was handing out pamphLets and saying, "hi, i'm mike jones and i'm running for congress" at my T stop. what a joke. i shouLd have known he was a repuke - on his pamphLet he doesn't identify his party... but if you go to his website: http://www.jonesforuscongress.org
you see him posing with just about every despicabLe cnut i can think of.

the upside of this brief encounter - i now know that deLahunt is my congressman (and aLso, that my district stretches aLL the way down to the cape. wow!). his website is much nicer http://www.house.gov/delahunt/

normaLLy, whenever there's a poLitician out for votes Like that, i try to taLk for at Least 5 minutes with them (regardLess of party) but i was tired (5:30 am) and on my way to work so i just grabbed his pamphLet and moved on.

1. I really like Delahunt
I haven't seen too much support for Jones here on the Cape -- the Repukes seem far too obsessed with Romney's imports.

3. That is kind of crazy
Considering that the Cape's issues aren't the same as a place like Quincy. Did they gerrymander the Cape so we'd get a Dem? Sadly, we seem to have far too many republicans.

5. you can blame Finneran for the districts . . . he's been
brought into federal court about his alleged gerrymandering as well as lying about it too . . . some think that that is why Finneran jumped ship so suddenly b/c of this federal probe . . .

4. Delahunt is one of the best
i don't live in his district but I think he's one of the best congressmen from the Mass. delegation ...

he held weekly discussions (carried on C-Span) against the war in Iraq when it was not very "fashionable" to do so ... if he ran for Kerry's seat, he'd get my vote ...

you should back him enthusiastically ...

http://www.house.gov/delahunt/

his House of Representatives website. Anyone who has Bill as his/her Rep should be very proud.

7. I just posted a thread in this board about why Bill should be supported
in the primary. Unfortunatly he's said that he won't run if Barney Frank runs. And I'd say Frank is extremely likely too.
