1. Great Letter to the editor in today's Globe
Pretty much sums up what a political asshole he is.

Romney should work for us

AS A resident of Massachusetts, I am enraged that the governor is spending my tax dollars in a vain attempt to circumvent the constitutionally protected separation of powers in Massachusetts, and doing an end-around to bypass our duly elected attorney general in the process ("Romney seeks authority to delay same-sex marriage," Page A1, April 16).If our Constitution and laws aren't to Mitt Romney's liking, maybe he should go back to the private sector where he can lord over the people who work for him to his heart's content. Because, despite his notions to the contrary, Massachusetts is not a corporation to do with as he pleases. We are a Commonwealth of citizens, and he works for us.

It's time he started acting like it and stopped wasting our meager, dwindling public funds to advance his own agenda.

MARY-ANN GREANIER

2. Too bad we had O'Brien run last time...
She was ok, but very uninspirational...

I think Reilly (AG now) would be a great replacement for Romney.

3. I agree about Reilly..
as for O'Brien, I feel like people hadn't gotten over Jane Swift and might have felt like another woman as gov. might not be the answer. How effing wrong they were. We dropped the ball big time w/this chucklehead Morman from Utah! He's not even from here! The movement to get shrub out of office is already underway. Let's start a new movement to send this jerk back to Utah!

5. I was hoping Reich would have won the nomination.
I don't like Reilly because of all the grandstanding he did on the Louise Woodward case. I'm sorry, but IMHO that was not a case of first degree murder.

But yes, Romney has to go. I cannot stand that guy.

12. I don't feel comfortable about Reilly
becoming Governor. I am not sure what it is about him (maybe his grandstanding regarding many issues before the court).

6. Maybe...
I think he also personally abhors the concept as a Mormon...those I've talked to described gay-marraige as an "abomination"...so.

Either way...screw Romney

7. I just have a bad feeling
that WHEN Kerry wins he's going to appoint himself senator and we'll be stuck with Kerry Healey.

9. Hopefully the Dems will get that bill passed
that allows for a special election instead of an appointment.

11. Yes indeed.
Romney is scum. The man spent like the Shrubmeister on attack ads in the campaign with O'Brien.

He's not even from Massachusetts. I agree--let's send this greaseball assclown back to Utah.

15. Forget about the AG
he has his virtues but he'd be the third state wide democratic office holder to run AND LOSE since 1990....the voters are trying to tell us something here.
We need someone new, unconnected to Beacon Hill and someone who can self finance...

18. Hmmm....with Healey as Governor
we could stage a coup (oops I'm sorry the politically correct term is "impeachment") depose her @ss and install Billy "The Prince of Darkness" as Governor.
Then we proclaim a new ordnung of peace and virtue, call out the National Guard and dig in...
Let the sonsabitches come!!
:)
I kid
I kid because I love...
I love...
