2. I'm in Toronto
We haven't had as much snow as New England so far this year but be happy about it. Snow = water and while they say 'water is going to be the oil of the 21st century' that's an understatement. Without water people die, without oil they have to walk.

3. Same here on the North Shore.
Man-oh-man. We got almost three feet the other day, and it's piling up quick today, too. I thought the heavy snows weren't supposed to move in until this evening...meteorologists are wrong again!

5. i love the snow ...
i know commuting sucks in the snow ... but the beauty is good for the soul when you have the time to appreciate it ...

last night i took the pup out for a walk in the yard ... we live right up against a forest ... the snow deadens all auto noise ... it was dead quiet ... i don't often get to hear "nothing" ...

my pup loves to play in the snow ... one well packed snowball can keep her running around for a half-hour ... i love watching it fill the pine trees knowing that some great photos will soon be available ...

i guess, like everything else, it's all in how you look at it ...

7. It just took me 45 minutes to drive from Hingham to Weymouth and
back.

I never even got out of the car; my bank was closed

No one's on the roads except plows but the driving is awful
