Starting Grad School @ BU, and I'd like to meet with like minded fellows...
Any ideas on where & when meetings take place?

Welcome to Massachusetts.

Try meetup. Search by interest or search by distance from zip code.

If you want to share what your interests are, we can make other recommendations.

p.s. The DU people occasionally meet in Cambridge.

p.p.s welcome to DU :hi:

Physical Sciences :-)

I am really looking forward to joining the community in Boston.
Right now I live in Chicago and I refuse to buy a car, so cities with enlightened attitudes towards public transportation are key.
Apparently, from my searches on Craig's List, Cambridge / Brighton :dilemma: are the most likely places to rent. It'll be fun, been to Cambridge, and have been itching to live there ever since I first visited it in 2001 (1 month after 9/11!!).
Anything to find relief from the vacuous yuppie hell Lincoln Park atmosphere - -
Check this funny site out, it gives you the right idea:

bye, for now...
