Dammit! My camera batteries died at the Arnold Arboretum this morning.

Both sets. Deader than a Yankee's hope. Died in the Bonsai House.

1. Bummer. I don't think I've ever had both batteries die before :(

But your picture has me half tempted to drive down there :) I can't do it this weekend though . . . damn.

I need to drive in from Lowell in the near future and go there, back over to the public gardens (now that all the flowers are out, not to mention the ducks) and maybe the aquarium.

Maybe next weekend.

2. I've been somewhat distracted lately & haven't been paying

attention.

When I got to the Bonsai house, a fellow was watering & let me come inside the house for pics. I got about half dozen shots before my camera packed it in. The arb is only a 10 minute drive from my house, so I'll go back there tomorrow morning & get pics for a photo essay.

I have two rechargeables for the camera, and in an emergency, I have an adapter that lets me use 3 CR-3 (i think that's the right size) batteries.

Fortunately, even with one of the normal rechargeables, I can usually get over 600 shots before I have to recharge, so it's not normally an issue.
