Do you find the "Hill Man" morning show as obnoxious and annoying as I do? Ugh, it's the only station that comes in. I just want to hear some music, not a pack of 30-something, adolescent jackasses every morning. I can't take it anymore!
Would there be any support for a website like www.sweetjesusihategreghill.com ??? or should I just buy a CD player for my car?

I bought a Creative Labs Zen Extra for around $200. I Currently have about 250 of my CDs loaded (about 6GB.) For the car, you can get an FM transmitter (~$30) to play directly thru your FM radio or a cassette attachment (~$15) to play thru your cassette player. I never run out of the music I like.
Check your local library. Here in Boston, you can check CDs out from the library. If you like the CD, rip it and put it on your Nomad. The music industry is trying to suppress illegal file sharing & the whole file sharing world is being stomped on. If you're going to download from the internets, make sure you stay legal.

2. I presume you are in the Worcester area |

Have you tried WICN, WCUW and WUMB? All are public stations.
WICN tends to play "standard" jazz, but has good alternative and folk/roots in the evening. WCUW is eclectic. WUMB is a folk station from Boston but has a Worcester transmitter.
And let WAAF let you know how you feel about 30-something airheads.
