Galloway and Fonda: anti-war speaking tour in Boston - 9/13
how cool is this ?? George Galloway, the guy who ripped apart little Normie Coleman when they dragged him in front of a Congressional committee, is joining Jane Fonda for a speaking tour of the US ...

and it looks like Boston is the first stop on their tour ... this looks too good to pass up ...

source: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines05/0827-06.htm

George Galloway, the anti-war MP for Bethnal Green and Bow who rocked the US Senate earlier this year, is to be accompanied on a speaking tour of America by the actress and activist Jane Fonda.

Few things are more likely to antagonize US conservatives than the combination of Mr Galloway and Ms Fonda - still hated by the right because of her outspoken opposition to the war in Vietnam - joining to condemn the American presence in Iraq. But Mr Galloway can expect a thunderous reception from those he impressed with his performance before a Senate committee last May.

In a statement, Mr Galloway, the Respect MP, said: "I'm really pleased and excited to be going back to America to campaign against this illegal war and occupation. And to have Jane Fonda join me is fantastic. I'll be able to get that autograph at last."

He added: "I'm sure that when the full implications of the constitutional settlement lashed-up by the puppet Iraqi government are understood that opposition will grow massively."

5. Oddly enough this is not the most lively forum.
It has the potential. So many events happen here (in the Boston area), yet so few share their opinions.

Pardon the vent, but when I/we have posted about personal appearance events with the likes of Zinn, Chomsky, Bonifaz, Frank, Fox, McGovern, Meehan etc there is very little response.

Let's make an effort of sharing news of its existance with returning college students.
