Gas price gouging
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 04:57 PM by paineinthearse
Fill your tanks today, prices are going through the roof.

A couple days ago, Cumberland Farms (Gulf) was selling regular gas for $2.58/gallon; today it is $3.11.

So I drove down the road a bit to the Getty station, where it was selling for $2.77; the attendant told me it is going up tomorrow to $3.15.

I'm registering a price gouging compaint with AG Tom Reilly http://www.ago.state.ma.us/sp.cfm?pageid=929

If you wish to file a formal consumer complaint - http://www.ago.state.ma.us/filelibrary/ccboth.pdf -, please download the Consumer Complaint Form, complete it and forward it along with copies of any supporting documentation to:

Office of the Attorney General
Consumer Complaint and Information Section
One Ashburton Place
Boston, MA 02108

Complaint forms cannot be submitted via e-mail and must be mailed.

p.s. Just heard on Faux gas is selling in Atlanta for $5.57/gallon. It's going to get worse before it gets better.

p.p.s Just locked in a delivery of 4 cords of firewood. Hope that is enough for the winter.
