new flyer at bushcheated04.com
A new antiwar flyer with quotes from Wes Clark, the Army War College, General Odin and Porter Goss and Dumbya himself can be can be downloaded at
http://bushcheated04.com/war2.pdf

Our DU friend recommends people who cannot make it to DC can distribute flyers locally by making copies and handing them out or flyering car windshields, leaving them in places where people will find them, etc.

I like lala_rawraw's idea of placing them in "unexpected" places, like magazines in waiting rooms and laundromats.

Or (was this Ian?) inside copies of the Boston Phoenix or the Metro or similar free newspapers.

1. good idea but: (advance apology for bloviation that follows)
(and I know that opinions are like ...)

... I think the flyer is too wordy , too 'circle A'-ish.
However, I love sticking flyers and things in unexpected places. Alas, if the flyer looks too "weird" or involves information beyond NEW IMPROVED TIDE! then it will get smushed up and tossed.
opportunity lost.

Please take a look at Family Circle or any of the crud that is in the grocery checkout. Quite simple and bland. Not too many words.
These represent people who have the hearts and minds you are trying to reach.

Too, please consider the notion that you are trying to make reg'lar folks feel ok in opposing the BS that is all around them.
They think they are out of the mainstream for their thoughts and keep mum so's not to make waves.

A huge part of why we still believe it is* not *ok to voice anti-war, anti-bush opinions is because their isolation campaign has worked.
Most folks are gonna believe what's on Fox because it's on TV: it must be real.

Haven't we all experienced the thing where, if someone mentions how fcuked-up the bushies are - others will quickly chime in? There's a sense of relief as if they'd been afraid to say anything because they thought nobody else felt that way?

Right. End of my spiel.

Kudos for going, kudos for participating. Kudos for fighting the power!
