FOR THAT TWO MONTH PERIOD IN THE 121 YEAR HISTORY OF BLUE HILL
OBSERVATORY...

BOTH AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER WERE THE SECOND WARMEST INDIVIDUAL MONTHS
ON RECORD AT THIS MILTON MASSACHUSETTS LOCATION.

RECORDS AT THE GREAT BLUE HILL DATE BACK TO 1885 FOR WHAT IS KNOWN
AS THE LONGEST HOMOGENEOUS CLIMATE OBSERVATION RECORD IN NORTH
AMERICA.
