Tierney, Capuano In Online Town Halls
Please join John Tierney on Monday, October 17, at 12:00 - 1:00 PM, for the first Online Town Hall Meeting for the 6th District of Massachusetts to discuss issues of concern to you.

John Tierney invites “questions on a wide range of topics, whether you are interested in discussing the rising gas prices, the war in Iraq, college affordability, Social Security or increasing health care costs.”

If you would like to ask John Tierney a question in advance, please click here.

Please join Congressman Mike Capuano (MA- 08) on Wednesday, October 26th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM for an online community meeting.

He hopes to have a "wide-ranging discussion about the critical issues confronting our country and welcomes questions on any topic that interests you. Please send your questions about the war in Iraq, efforts to rebuild after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the future of Social Security, emergency preparedness, the federal budget deficit, affordable housing or anything else that’s on your mind."

"Congress recently passed H.R. 3: SAFETEA LU – the long-awaited federal transportation bill. This bill will bring more than $5.23 billion to Massachusetts over six years, providing funding to many critical local transportation projects. If you have questions about how this legislation will help fund improvements in Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea or Somerville, submit them for discussion."

If you would like to ask Congressman Capuano a question in advance of the online community meeting, please click here.

1. Interesting
Two comments.

1. I would be willing to try this, but at this point prefer standing toe to toe and looking at my Rep in the eye.

2. I've been trying to get my Rep to come to this end of the district for months, he keeps saying ... summer ... then fall ... now it's winter.
