DUers w/Kids: Group visit to "Amazing Castle" @ Boston Children's Museum?
Would anyone be interested in a DU Family Trip to The Boston Children's Museum?

I was thinking of one or more of the following dates:

October 29
November 12 or 13
Or any weekday during Xmas vacation.

I'll cross-post in the parenting forums and Massachusetts forums.

Boston Children's Museum
300 Congress Street
Boston, MA 02210

Step back in time to a fanciful medieval village in The Amazing Castle™, an enchanting world where people travel on horseback, dragons protect castles, lords and ladies attend lavish parties—and everyone works in harmony to create a community.

Inside The Amazing Castle, imaginative play abounds, as children explore all aspects of village life alongside Trim the Tailor, Kipper the Cook, Posey the Gardener, HiJinx the Jester, and the other castle citizens in the exhibit’s eight themed areas. From cooking to carpentry, this exhibits invites children to experience the many ways in which communities connect.
Pick vegetables in the royal garden and prepare a feast that’s fit for a king. Sew, repair, and design clothes in the Tailor Shop, and then build a table or chair with Gable the Carpenter. Head down to the Blacksmith Shop and help patch up the iron cauldron. Visit the Royal Puppet Theatre to become a court entertainer—or a royal member of the audience. Create a miniature village in a castle-inspired dollhouse, build a fortress—even try waking Herald, the sleeping tower dragon!

Don’t miss the magic of The Amazing Castle, open through January 2006

Have you looked at 'Parent's Magazine'??
That Massachusetts PARENT's Newspaper?
They have 'playgroups' posted!
People you can 'hook-up' with for outings!
I know how lonely child rearing can be!!
Try your local recreational office or YMCA!
THE LOCAL LIBRARY! They have GROUPS too!
They usually have a lot of family activities!
