Air America in Western Mass.
Just got word that Air America will have a limited prescence in Western Mass starting July 5. WHMP AM will air local programming in the early AM followed by Mornig Sedition(sp), Dr Joy Browne, Bill O'reilly, and then Al Franken. A good first step. At least they are removing that a**hole Sean Hannity!

2. I hate to admit this...
but sometimes Hannity can be amusing. He is such a simple minded goosestepping nazi.

3. Franken
so they're running Al's show in the 11 pm slot, not at noon? wonder why.

Morning Sedition, btw, features Rachel Maddow, who previously hosted the Big Breakfast on WRSI in Western Mass.

5. that makes more sense
I didn't realize they had the ability to run the programs outside their usual time slots. So I can listen to Al on my drive home. :bounce:

7. Clear channel owns the 2 largest AM stations
in the valley, WHYN (right-wing talk) and WNNZ (Fox sports). I wouldn't be surprised if Hannity showed up on WHYN soon.

12. I can, look
at WGGB News 40, they are trying so hard to be FOX it makes me sick. That fool Hymen who does the editorial after the late news really bothers me. Sinclair broadcasting at it's finest, they sent a reporter to the Showcase Cinema the day F-9/11 opened no one would talk to her.She was trying to claim that Sinclair was a parent Co. and they had no influence on the news. I then asked her why they did not broadcast the Night-Line when Ted Copple read the names of our soldiers who have died in Iraq. She pretended not to know what I was talking about. The only person who talked to her was an African American guy who said he didn't know about F-9/11, he was there to see White Girls.

11. I work in Enfield CT
and got great reception for unfiltered. I am not sure what time Al Franken comes on, but right now it is Bill O'Reilly.

13. I live in Palmer
and get the WORST reception for the Northampton station. I try so hard to hear what is being broadcast, but the reception is so bad that I just end up streaming online.

Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 12:03 PM by George W. Dunce
For a while but the reception was poor so I went back to the on line stream. I'm in South Hadley, I think it's my stero, it never gets good reception. A lot of Freepers here in South Hadley, W04 stickers every where.
