Meet multiple candidates, January 22, Weston

REILLY AND PATRICK TO MEET AND GREET VOTERS AT RECEPTION, SUNDAY
JANUARY 22

A reception to meet the Democratic candidates for state and county offices is generating great interest, according to Jacqueline Haas, chair of the Weston Democratic Town Committee. Both Democratic candidates for governor, Attorney General Tom Reilly and former U.S. Assistant Attorney General Deval Patrick plan to attend. The reception will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2006 in the Weston Public Library, 87 School Street, Weston, 2-4 PM. It is sponsored by the Weston Democratic Town Committee and the Third Middlesex Area Democrats. The reception is open to all voters.

In addition to the candidates for governor, all of the Democratic candidates for Lt. Governor & Secretary of State will attend.

They are:
former Brookline Selectwoman Deborah Golberg,
Worcester Mayor Tim Murray,
Medical Director for the Mass. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children Sam Kelley and
the founder of the Center for Women and Enterprise Andrea Silbert.

Secretary of State: Incumbent Bill Galvin & National Voting Rights Institute John Bonifaz.

Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley, a candidate for Attorney General, has been invited.

Haas also said that the race for the Democratic nomination for Middlesex District Attorney is generating enormous interest among the voters and all four candidates have indicated that they will attend the reception. They are:
State Senator Jarrett Barrios,
State Representative Michael Festa,
State Representative Peter Koutoujian, and
former Deputy First Assistant Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone.

State Senator Susan Fargo and State Representative Alice Peisch will also attend.
