2. Of course
We rehearsed last night, sounded pretty good.

Although I did make one major screwup. There's one song where we quote an old Cream tune, and in order to not get complacent and keep ourselves on our toes I sometimes try to sneak in a different reference than the usual one. So I was gonna try that last night-- and suddenly blanked on it. Sheesh!

I made up for it by spontaneously changing the lyrics to one of the other songs. Tim had some difficulty keeping a straight face for the rest of the song.

I'm a little anxious about how our loud rock instrumentation is gonna go over in a church. When we played this venue last year (another benefit, for the Heifer Project), we did so without drums, and I thought that was quite loud enough.

Do you think you might make it?

3. I'm not sure, but it doesn't look all that likely.
Do you know around what time you'll be playing? I have one of those pre-date "dates" at 5PM Saturday, in Waltham. I have no idea how it will go or how long it will be; this guy doesn't even have a photo on the site, so I also have no idea what he looks like!

4. Good luck
Guy doesn't have a photo on the site? Either he's a hard core Luddite or he's avoiding his probation officer, heh heh...

As for what time we're on, we're hoping it'll be early, so people with "mature" wake/sleep cycles like my parents and my co-workers can see us. So, assuming the cellist plays for 20 minutes and Astro Al does his usual 30-40 minute set, we could be on as early as 8PM. Of course, this depends on Tim's various stomp boxes and processors working right out of the box without tweakage...
