Senator Bob Graham,Congressman Delahunt, Mayor Madden of Weymouth
to hold a forum on: “The National Security Issue . . . Taking Back Congress and the White House”



When & Where: Friday, April 7, 2006 @ Weymouth Town Hall, Council Chambers, 6:30 p.m. (The response so far has prompted the sponsors to relocate to the Abigail Adams School which shares a parking lot with the Weymouth Town Hall - the school is behind the Town Hall and has a larger auditorium)



Featured Speakers: Congressman William Delahunt & former Florida Senator, Bob Graham



Co-Sponsors: Mayor David Madden, Rep. James Murphy, Rep. Ron Mariano, Norfolk Treasurer Joe Connolly

Co-Op 8, PCDL, Weymouth Democratic Town Committee

The Co-Op8 is a regional Democratic organization comprising the following 8 communities:Weymouth, Hingham, Hull, Cohasset,Norwell,Scituate, Marshfield and Duxbury

The PCDL is the Plymouth County Democratic League

Senator Bob Graham has recently bought a home in Hingham so as to be near one of of his daughters and her family while he teaches at the Kennedy School

1. why hold it in such a democratic stronghold?
Maybe Delahunts district is the least solidly democratic in the state, but it's still by no means very competative. Are they holding these meetings in other parts of the country where electing a dem isn't so reliable or even very difficult?
