History of John Kerry's Senate Races
I live in Denver. I saw John kerry on MTP this morrning and he never sounded better. I think he may have the same affliction as Al Gore ( before 2000) They are both very stiff/uncomfortable campaigners..and BOTH great men. Can some tell me the history of the of all of JFK's senate races. Were they show-ins..was he challenged in the democratic primary, did he have tough GOP competition. Did he win the general election by what %?

Any website you can send me to for the answers?

1. Wikipedia highlights his two biggest Senate Races.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kerry

Wikipedia has some technical problems at the moment, and I don't have percentages.
but he won a tough primary fight in 1984, and he defeated William Weld,
a popular Republican in 1996.

Kerry also beat millionaire developer James Rappaport in 1990 in a race
that was negative and nasty at times. He had no Republican opposition in 2002.

2. The GOP has nothing left in MA. Once Romney leaves....
the Democrats will have everything. :kick:
