Just left Kerry rally!

Lines were up to 1/2 mile long, 6 to 8 deep. Looks like a U of M football game. WJR reports "thousands". I say tens of thousands. Wish I could have stayed. Bought some great buttons, though.

CNN and MSNBC keep telling us that crowds are lukewarm about Kerry.

2. R-i-i-g-g-h-h-t. Lukewarm.

Then I personally saw 30,000 lukewarm Kerry supporters. Well, temp was about 65 degrees.

6. 65 degrees until the sun went down!

brrr... it was cold waiting in line after that. but i didn't see anybody leaving. we all stood there confident that we were going to see Kerry - even after we were told we wouldn't. (we did :-) ) there were probably at least 3000, possibly 5000, unlucky people waiting in line after the auditorium was filled to capacity. that was at apprx 7:00 p.m.

One of the idiots on CNN just said, "Was there anything the Kerry could have done..." as if he already lost the election.

I heard Kerry was going to be in Michigan on Saturday. Is he coming to the UM campus? The game starts at 3:30. What time is the rally?
