Election day blackout in Grand Rapids?
Has this one been mentioned for the collection of election day blackouts or disruptions?

Clerk shines despite election blackout

"With the help of Fire Department personnel, who shined emergency floodlights inside township offices at 250 Maple St. SE., DeMann and Deputy Clerk Laura Hecker registered voters by hand until a generator was used to bring up computers.

With 83 percent of registered voters turning out in the township, a record-setting number of new registrations and absentee ballots, DeMann went sleepless for 46 straight hours trying to pull off her first election. She said she was grateful for the help she received from everybody who pitched in."

I guess the question would be "Who all pitched in?"

Apologies if this is old news.
