President Bush to visit Kalamazoo Monday

President George W. Bush will be in Kalamazoo next Monday.

That much was confirmed by state campaign officials in Southfield, although the time and place are yet to be announced for security reasons.

Wings Stadium officials have been approached by the Bush/Cheney campaign, said Wings general manager Paul Pickard.

"We have received no final word," Pickard said. "We expect to know this week."

it's gotta be really clean, peaceful, inoffensive, and (ideally) visible as fuck.

The groups around here are OUTspoken, KNOW (the anti-war kids), and Codepink. I'm sure ONE of them will have something arranged, but I hope they don't go overboard.
