Hey Everybody, Mrs. Grumpy's in the hospital...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Ms. Grumpy went into the hospital on Thursday for gallbladder removal and various other surgical mucking about. I talked to her today, and she wanted me to express how crappy she felt about missing the Michigan DU fest this past weekend!
She feels OK (thank you sister morphine) and should be back home some time later this week. She has had health problems on and off for a long time now, let's hope that this round takes care of whatever has been causing her grief!

My mother-in-law was in agony off and on for years until she had her gall bladder out. I think it made her feel so great, she's asking the doctor what other parts he can remove now.

I know that I changed color from yellow to pink in about a week after the surgery. Gall bladder problems are not funny.

I kind of figured it had to be something pretty drastic to keep her away from FUNDAY. We have some raw photos in from the party, which are viewable if one goes to: www.davehorton.org . The photos are posted on the front page of the site, by clicking right there where it says "sixty pictures."
If you want to know what you're looking at, just refer to the last two numbers of the photo and I'll give you an explanation.
Polly and I both are hoping you're feeling a lot better today, Mrs. Grumpy. We'll be having another FUNDAY in about 360-odd days (I just don't have the heart to do the math just yet), and maybe you can be the "Rookie of the Year" then (see Billy in the photos to see why that's a good thing).
