Has anyone been swimming yet?
It seems that possibly, maybe? Just maybe, the weather has balanced out a bit (realize I say this as the sky becomes overcast, again), and I'm raring to go after some sand, sun and water!

How's the temp? Anyone taken a dip, recently? If so, where?

1. Yep. Swimming. Sailing. All sorts of outdoor water stuff.
Of course, I live in Central Texas. Means I cannot even go outside without sweating profusely, unless I am in the water. Rather unpleasant season really.

2. I've been swimming several times
and it's already been a balmy 94 here in San Antonio.
I know this is posted in the Minnesota section, but thought I'd reply and send warm weather your way - there's more than enough here!! Hope you get to take a dip soon! :hi:

3. first day out of school -
kids are swimming at the pool today, overcast and all. I've heard the ground water is still way too cold. SE MN is by no means warn, but its worth a little swimming for the younguns.

7. High of 76
its 70 now. I checked in at the house, they actually haven't headed out to swim yet. One is real interested, the eldest has decided that cleaning her room is really exciting. Hmmm.

8. Cleaning her room?
Well OK then. 70 sounds downright chilly - I'd probably have to wear a jacket. :D

9. The public pools in Vegas opened for "weekends only" on May 7
and went to "everyday 11-8" on May 28.

Yes, we've been about 5 times...we go unless the temp drops below 85º when the strong winds out here gives ya tha chills.
