Everyone I know in Minnesota listens to NPR/MPR. Whether they listen for the news or for the entertainment or both, they listen at least occasionally to NPR/MPR. It is the best mainstream source out there. Nothing comes close. Currently, NPR and PBS are under attack from Congressional republicans who are looking to eliminate both.
