Questions/concerns about upcoming MN govt shutdown? |
|
Speaker of the Minnesota House Steve Sviggum has invited citizens (not lobbyists) to “Talk to the Speaker,” all day, Tuesday June 21, 2005. This is an opportunity for the public to communicate their concerns to Speaker Sviggum. To request an appointment to visit with the Speaker by phone or in his office, call 651-296-2273 and ask for Shelley Peterson.

2. I would be this backfires on the GOP |
|
Because the DFL has come up with compromises as a starting point for negoations. Pawlenty et al want nothing more than complete capitulation from the DFL.

3. It will sink Pawlenty's hopes for 2008 |

People will be mucho p.o.'d if the state parks are closed over the 4th of July weekend. And they'll blame the governor before they blame Dean Johnson.
And that will follow Tim right into the primaries, too.
