DSM on KFAN of all places - The Common Man

I used to detest this man as possibly the worst use of a couple hours of radio time ever. I've listened to a few of his rants over the past few months and this guy really is pretty good when he's not talking about himself (which is 90% of the time).

KFAN is a sports station that has a regional network reaching into the Dakotas, Montana, and most of MN. He was ripping Bush on DSM. I just caught a little bit of it but he wasn't pulling any punches.

1. I always like the Common Man Dan Cole.

He does talk about himself a lot, but he's also the only person (before AAR) that was worth listening to on the AM dial. Hartmann is a stooge who pulled himself up by his daddys bootstraps, Barriero is a decent curmudgeon who will rip anyone. The morning zoo on KFAN is a yawn.

2. Common is a good guy

I suspect he can't be too overtly liberal or political given the format he's working with (ostensibly sports talk), but my guess is that he's one of us. His brother Alex Cole is a comedian (and freakin' HIlarious!) - I saw him just this week doing a show to benefit Minnesota NARAL. Whattaguy.
