Here are legislatwhores who voted to continue shutdown |
|
State employees should send their personal "thanks" to these 10 legislators who voted against ending the state shutdown. These fine legislators evidently wanted the state shutdown to continue. They must have had a better idea on resolving the state's budget crisis and were willing to keep 9,000 state workers unemployed in order to prove their point. I think the only point these people have is the one on the top of their pinheads.
Of course, Sen. Brian "Stan Laurel" LeClair voted against virtually every other funding bill in the regular session this year, so it's no big surprise that he wasn't happy with this one either. It's also no big surprise that every one of these uncompromising obstructionists is Republican.
It would be interesting to see which of these 10 Republicans collected per diem during the special session.
VOTING TO CONTINUE THE STATE SHUTDOWN

4. Figures that Krinkie's on that list |
|
He was one of the toerags that was holding up a settlement in the first place-- no racino, no "impact fee", no taxes....IOW, no way to fund government obligations.
I hope somebody runs against him in Shoreview next year-- he's very vulnerable.

6. Names are from the Senate and House journals |
|
Sure didn't fine them in either of the daily newspapers. That would be too much work for the capitol press corps.
