I checked in on CSPAN coverage of the DNC platform committee mtg.
just in time to see Minnesota's own John I-forget-his-last-name, who was so helpful as DFL liaison to the state Kucinich campaign, speaking in favor of an anti-war resolution and calling for a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the Wellstone crash.

And according to his recap, they were actually able to get the MAJORITY plank changed to include references to "withdrawing" from a sovereign Iraq, and to the "will" of the Iraqi people.

He considered those big changes, since no reference existed before to getting out of Iraq and no deference was given to actual Iraqis.
