Donate Needed Items at Saint Paul Public Library Locations

Help the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the refugees from the Gulf Coast devastation by donating money or needed items to the relief effort. Items may be dropped off at City of Saint Paul libraries and recreation centers.

Currently the most important items needed include: monetary donations, fall and winter clothing, diapers, formula, toilet paper, paper towels, non-perishable food, and hygiene supplies. Bottled water, cots, and blankets are also needed. Clean used items are acceptable.

If you are unclear as to whether a donation is acceptable, call 211 for clarification.

They will be accepting donations for 2 weeks but if it comes down to the wire, you might want to call to find out the exact ending date as "2 weeks" is a bit vague. (That's all they told me when I was there so that's all I have at the moment.)
