Interested in World Can't Wait? |
|
For those of you in DC on the 24th, you probably saw signs and people from world can't wait (www.worldcantwait.org), the group that is going to be staging protests across the country on November 2nd.
There is a branch coming to Minneapolis. I've been in touch with the organizer, but she can't do a lot, as she's in LA now and will only be back the week of 11/2. I'm kind of tied up with the walkout that is being planned on the same day at the U of M. But if anybody is interested in helping or at least signing up on the e-mail list so you can help spread the world, e-mail minneapolis@worldcantwait.org
If you have any basic questions, I can probably answer them. There is no detailed info yet, as the group is trying to figure out whether to have the rally in downtown minneapolis during lunch hour, the capitol/downtown st. paul, or join forces with the students who are walking out on November 2nd at the U of M campus, or something else. If you have any ideas, it would probaby help.
Thanks
