Hey all - just went to my first Meetup event here in Katoland; better turnout than I had expected, and lots of energy!
College student active in campus Democrats; one couple and one single who had been to the peace rally in Washington; good diverse crowd.
Anyone in So Central MN who wants to get together, next one is second Tuesday in November, DFL office in OldTown Mankato!!

I went to my second one last night and left early. There were a few kids there from the local community college and I hope they weren't completely turned off.
It started out well but, there was one old biddy there (not me, swear to God) who pretty much drives everyone crazy. It was a small group so it's easy for one person to ruin it for everyone.
