4 kids with polio now in central Minnesota
I just saw in this in the WashPost. From Amish families, kids weren't vaccinated. Although they claim the polio variant is from the oral vaccine. But they don't know how the kids got exposed to it.

1. Mainstream America stopped polio vaccinations after 1970.
Pity few newscasts stated that little juicy tidbit...

2. Kids are still given the polio vaccine.
I know all my nieces and nephews had it (youngest one is 14). And I know one of my coworkers infant was vaccinated just before the story of these cases broke.
