So I stopped by a "convention party" tonight
I didn't stay long - it was at a hotel and it was a) too noisy and b) they didn't have CSPAN - I missed Wesley Clark's speech completely.

Anyway, before I left, I fell in with a group of folks who are completely convinced that Cheney will drop out for "health reasons" and that Normie Coleman will be his replacement. Their reasoning makes some sense. First, for whatever reason, the neocons seem desperate to win Minnesota (and are delusional enough to think Coleman could help in that regard) and second, Cheney wouldn't want to be replaced by McCain or Gulianni - they both have minds of their own. Normie, on the other hand, has proven himself to be an obedient lap dog and wouldn't cause any problems for the folks running Bush. And, they could depend on Pawlenty to replace Weasel Boy with someone even worse (if it came to that). One guy in the crowd did vow that if that happened, he would make it his personal mission to make Normie's "zipper problem" the number one issue in America.

Thoughts?

5. Normie is rumored to be quite the ladies man
especially when he's in a bar and had a few drinks. I believe there are people who post here who have actually seen him in action.
