I've been amazed that news about the hurricane affected areas has largely evaporated and was guessing that it must still be a mess down there.

The Daily Show with John Stewart had a great piece a few weeks ago, when their (fake) "reporter" was giving a serious, heartfelt report on a huge current event, then he got the news that Brittney Spears was having marital trouble. He immediately started a serious, heartfelt report about that. Stewart interrupted and asked why he stopped reporting on the important political story...the reporter responded, "But, John! This is NEW news, and that makes it the most important news." That really summed up our national attention deficit disorder.

I'm sure the folks down there must really appreciate the help that you're giving. :thumbsup:
