Is anyone planning to attend the Blue State Ball?

I keep hearing it advertised on Air America. It's on Saturday in Minneapolis, with appearances by Ed Schultz, Wendy Wilde and a band called, "Alfalpha Males." (LOL!)

Saturday, January 21st. 7-11pm, dressy or casual. $12 in advance, $15 at the door. (I'm wondering if this is a fundraiser for the station.)

I've never heard of the Columbia Golf Manor before. Is this a space that is rented out to community groups and fundraisers?
