WOW!! I got "disappeared"!!!

No "Post Deleted",
No "Locked Thread".....

.just GONE.

I thought it was an inoffensive post. I can't find any rule violation.
I posted the text of a letter that the Strib published and provided the link......

NOW its GONE.
What happened?

AL GORE SPEAKS OUT

An important speech

Former Vice President Al Gore delivered a speech that I consider the most important given in the last 30 years, correctly diagnosing and detailing the current constitutional crisis gripping our government.

I have no doubt that the Bush administration, with the cooperation of our docile media, will respond with "swift boat" attacks to deflect attention from the substance of Gore's speech.

Gore called for all Americans to resist the executive attack on the fundamental foundations of our democracy. Our forefathers saw the possibility of executive-branch abuses of power, and placed the responsibility of oversight in the hands of the American citizens.

I encourage all Americans to look beyond the inevitable "swift boat" attacks, and study the substance of this speech.

The Strib used some editorial discretion.
They appended "Former" to my original "Vice President Al Gore".

I posted "The Strib Published my letter" to the Minnesota Forum at 7:17 this PM, and now it doesn't appear anywhere (at least on MY computer screen).

I rebooted, and I STILL can't see my own thread about "The Strib Published my Letter!"

I can see it in "My Posts", but not on the Minnesota Forum page.

Thanks. But if you hide one, how do you get it back then? I didn't want to experiment and end up with a mess. :dunce:

8. Click on "options" and then "Hidden Threads" to view your

hidden threads. If you want to show it again, check the box next to the thread and click "Unhide selected threads."

Bvar, if you clicked on the X by accident and hid the thread, you should get a warning screen stating that you have selected a thread to be hidden. Of course, since you're being watched, everything sent to your computer is first intercepted and re-routed to proper authorities for analysis before you see it. Apparently a software glitch prevented the warning screen from being routed to you. I'll tell the boys to check into the problem and make sure it's fixed. After all, we don't want the general public to become suspicious that we may be spying on their Internet traffic or eavesdropping on their phone calls. Heck, something like that may even be illegal in some countries. Not the good ol' US of A though. 9/11 changed everything.
