Sen Mark Dayton, MN - "has not made a decison yet on filibuster"
Edited on Mon Jan-30-06 12:20 PM by jean
according to his local office (Fort Snelling MN)

I talked to his very polite, receptive aide, mentioning that Sen Harkin has said he will abstain, which is an option for Sen Dayton.

Please contact Dayton and politely stresss our point - we need him to stand on principle and stand against cloture/FOR the filibuster.

1. Which means he needs more calls
I can't believe he wouldn't sign on to this just because he's not running and he could take a poke at Bush while standing up for what's good.

The cynic in me is saying that the Klobuchar big money people have already gotten to him and told him not to rock the boat. Which would be a shame, since he won by rocking the boat.

Come on, Mark! Get off the fence!

3. K&N! I contacted Mark by phone, fax and email
He probably also got a few petitions I have signed.

I really do not understand his fence-sitting. Not cool!
