John Kline receives a BIG FAT 0 from CDF

was driving home from work today and they were replaying a Westiminster Town Hall Forum speech given by Marian Wright Edelman of the Childrens Defense Fund.
Seems our friend John Kline got a 0 rating from them..... for a second year in a row. This was even before the budget fiasco.

What really sad is "Almost one-third of the Senators and more than one-third of the House Members scored zero for 2005 in voting on legislation that will impact the lives of children in America."

What is this country coming to.

1. Republican marine from TEXAS rides into Minnesota, and becomes

the representative for the white souther suburbs. I mean, doesn't Minnesota have any thoughtful, expressive Republicans of their own in that area? Since Klein didn't grow up in Minnesota, how can he understand the commitment that we make to our children and their future?

In Texas, boys usually are organized into football teams by the time they're in fourth grade. Not to be outdone, the girls in fourth grade are expected to be on cheerleading squads! I think that says it all...

Klein doen't get the idea that health care, literacy, and intellectual exploration are key values for Minnesota kids.

I think that Klein is just a DeLay (R-TX) plant. So far, he's proved it.
