Don't know much about spectators sports, but, wasn't KG
some kind of a role model that everyone loved? Why is he out?

1. He got booted for tossing a ball into the stands....
...automatic ejection. It was really no big deal, but the rules is the rules. Despite this incident, KG is one of the good guys.

There's video of the 'incident' at espn.com:

2. I think the person who got "hit" by the ball
is milking it for more than it is worth...

3. I don't follow basketball but somewhere it's seeped into my
consciousness that KG does do a lot of good works and the ball was thrown out of frustration, not meaness. I also gather from what I heard on the news that you're right about the person who got hit.

4. KG is one of the good guys!
He is building a house a month for those affected by Katrina (a total of 24 homes are being built by Kevin Garnet)

5. read the story in the STrib today. He doesn't appear...
... to be milking it at all. he was disappointed that HE got booed, though.

6. The strib had a story about people who were publicly "dumped"
like Tyce (sp?) and that school supe and speculated on future dumpees, including Garnett. So I wonder whether something like this was in the making, even before that incidence.
