Who has caucus results for downticket races like senate and congress? |
|
I didn't see it on the DFL site or Sec. or state site or any news sites.

The delegates elected last night will begin to choose them at conventions over the next few months.

http://action.dfl.org/site/PageServer?pagename=EventCalendar interesting way to do it. I'm new to this stuff. I moved here from PA where we have primaries and know the same night.

3. We won't know have any real clue what's going on with those until after the |
|
Senate District and County Unit conventions. They can be held from now until April 6 and that's where the delegates to the Congressional & State conventions will be elected. However, those results are not posted to the SOS website, I'm not sure where you'd go to get an idea of the delegates counts from those conventions - probably the DFL office.
The Congressional Districts will have their conventions between April 12 and June 5. And the state convention will be in Rochester June 6-8.

4. If you are a delegate, prepare to be polled. |

5. I don't think I'll blab so much to the pollsters this time |

As a state convention delegate in '06, I was happy to chat at length on the phone with anyone, so long as they weren't from the Dark Side. For example, I gave detailed answers to all the questions posed by the nice lady from the Mike Hatch for Governor campaign. I cheerfully explained all the reasons why Hatch was only my distant third choice, well behind Steve Kelley and Becky Lourey.
At the convention, I could see how the Hatch campaign used its extensive data to outmaneuver my favored candidates. No complaints there - they were doing what a well-run campaign ought to do. But if I had it to do over again, I'd play my cards much closer to my vest.

6. There are no such results |
|
Next up is senate district or county unit conventions, at which attendees will elect delegates to state convention, who will in turn endorse a candidate in June. Until then, no real numbers.
