Bachmann on O'Reilly tonight--she gets more mileage out of bashing immigrants than gays
Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 06:35 PM by Minnesota Raindog
Tune in to Bill O'Reilly tonight:

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., will be on the O'Reilly Factor interview show on Fox News sometime during the show's airing Wednesday night at 7 p.m., according to her campaign office.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann will appear on Fox News' the O'Reilly Factor to discuss how our broken immigration system led to last week's Minnesota school bus crash in which four young kids died.

The show re-airs at 11 p.m.

1. There's a guy who lives across the street from my mother who has replaced his very large
"Romney for President" sign with a large "Michelle Bachmann for President" sign. I had assumed his Romney sign had come from the Romney campaign, but I can't figure out where he got the Bachmann sign. It looks like it's professionally made and way bigger than the average lawn sign maybe 5 or 6 feet wide, as was the Romniey sign. I've occassionaly seen the jerk at the corner of 98th and Lyndale on the evenings the peace activists are there (Tuesdays I think) waving pro war signs.

Makes me glad Mumsie lives in a secure apartment building with creeps like that wandering her neighborhood.

2. Sick
Yet not out of the ordinary for Michelle Bachmann. Undocumented immigrants are not the root of all evil, but it always has and always will get votes.

4. 6th CD candidate Bob Olson slams Bachmann's fear-mongering
http://dumpbachmann.blogspot.com/2008/02/bob-olson-response-to-bachmann.html

"In the wake of the tragic accident in Cottonwood, Minnesotans had a right to expect smart and compassionate leadership from those in power. That Michele Bachmann chose instead to go on the O'Reilly Factor and play along with O'Reilly's fear mongering is absolutely disgusting.

Still waiting for Tinklenberg's response to Bachmann's latest antics. Or on much of anything else.

5. Bachmann: Killer immigrants on the loose
http://www.minnesotamonitor.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=3290

O'Reilly: In Minnesota, there is no urgency to solve this illegal immigrant crime problem. See, this is a crime problem.
Bachmann: This is a crime problem. This is an issue of anarchy versus the rule of law. The question is, when are we going to get serious about this, and stop tinkering around the edges? If we can't get serious and outraged about four innocent kids, one of which will be buried tomorrow, I don't know what it's going to take, Bill.
O'Reilly: Yeah, I just want everybody across the world to look at these kids...
Bachmann: That's right...
O'Reilly: ... killed on a school bus...
Bachmann: That's right. That's right...
O'Reilly: Woman never should have been in this country, never should have been driving an automobile...
Bachmann: That's right. That's exactly right. It's tragic.
