3. This Is Good
Normally, I think a governor gets to choose who serves from him. That said, she doesn't and didn't deserve the job. BYE BYE

4. It could not have happened to a better incompetent
Unless you consider the last commissioner of health.

5. Nice to see something proper is done.
She could have stepped up, when nobody over the last 2 decades hadn't, over the bridge that's been said to have all these problems developing all this time.

But would the cynics say "con job", if in a parallel universe they actually bothered to spend the necessary money? :(

6. Can somebody explain to me
I saw this Repub chick stand up on the Senate floor and say it was all the DFL's fault for not properly funding MnDOT, thus tying poor ol' Carol's hands.
Don't I remember the Repubs shooting down every Dem attempt to do so in the last 6 years or so?
Do people actually fall for this?

I remember Numnuts Pawlenty, when he first appointed her, pridefully claiming she was so tough she would grab the Dems by the lapels and shake sense into them.
I remember thinking yeah, that's a good way to foster cooperation . . . not . . .

7. And don't forget that lovely picture of her standing by Pawlenty's side and smiling
as he vetoed last year's transportation bill. It's not often you see a department head smiling about not getting a raise in the budget.

8. Yeah, that was very bizarre.
Maybe she likes getting complaints from folks who have busted axles because of potholes, or flattened by bridges...

Well, one bridge - so far. It's just gross negligence. Managers get paid huge bucks to manage. Turnover is usually high because they can't do their jobs as there's not enough money to go around when it's needed. When grinning over a smaller budget, she was either grinning because she's brown-nosing... well, there are only so many inferences upon looking back, but recalling Pawlenty's face the same day and after the collapse, I hardly think there was malicious intent... just luck that ran out.
