Busheviks getting desperate?
I happened to drive down to Richfield this afternoon, and I couldn't help noticing how many Bush supporters had yard signs the size of a minivan.

They were still outnumbered by Kerry signs in most neighborhoods, but it was almost funny. I could imagine the people at Republicanite headquarters saying, "We're trailing! We've got to get our supporters bigger yard signs!"

1. No, You entered the Red Zone
Richfield, Bloomington, Burnsville, Eden Prairie all seem to have more * signs than Kerry signs. Cliff Rd in B'ville is eaten up with * signs, a few have even been vandalized.

3. It's not my imagination!

Today I rode the bus down France Avenue from Uptown and walked back to the Linden Hills shopping area, and sure enough, the few lonely Bush supporters along those routes either have bigger signs or more signs on display.

France Avenue between West 44th and Lake Street is about 75% Kerry signs, but the lawn of one of the few Bush supporters now sports a handmade "W" sign about 3' by 5'.

The guy with the two SUVs has put extra bumperstickers on his vehicles and two more signs on his lawn.

I suppose this is the lawnsign equivalent of freepers typing in capital letters. :-)

4. My parents live in Richfield
Kerry signs way outnumber * signs, but the * signs are huge. Going south towards bloomington though * signs start to outnumber the Kerry signs. One guy has about 5 of them in his yard. In the last few days someone partially burned the large one.

5. There's one about a block from my house!
I live on Grand Ave, and there's this nice old house one block to my north with one of those HUGE B/C signs. It's on the second story of his house, facing the street. With SPOTLIGHTS on it, even!
I think he's overcompensating, considering nearly every other house for two blocks has a Kerry/Edwards sign.

6. I was wondering the same thing, while driving to Hopkins on
Hopkins Crossing - later changes to 17th Ave. I think that Hopkins is a DFL city thus seeing all the B/C signs was a surprise.
