MILITARY BLACKOUT

Let us show our pride

If there is an unforeseen consequence of the Pentagon's policy to shield Americans from viewing flag-draped caskets of soldiers and the military burials that honor them -- it may diminish a pride that might have inspired future youth to aspire to military service.

Edited on Wed Jul-16-08 05:49 PM by ocelot
Yeah, I'd be so proud of the possibility I could come home from a war in a flag-draped coffin that I'd run right down to the Army recruiting office to enlist. Uh huh. That would get me to join up, for sure.

:eyes:

That's some seriously weird thinking.

shoot guns and act like a macho-macho man and stuff, but then when you go to Iraq, where people shoot back.
