Warmongering Colorado delegate Got Rolled at RNC
http://is.gd/2Ib8

A Denver news channel is reporting this morning that a Colorado delegate, 29-year-old attorney Gabriel Nathan Schwartz, was robbed during the RNC after bringing a woman back to his room at Hotel Ivy. He reportedly took the woman to his room where she made him drinks and told him to get undressed. He told police that “was the last thing he remembered.” The woman snatched a $30,000 watch, a $20,000 ring, a necklace valued at $5,000, earrings priced at $4,000 and a Prada belt valued at $1,000, Minneapolis police told the station.

Before getting robbed, Schwartz talked about his “vision for change” with Link TV. He wants less taxes, more war, and to “bomb Iran, baby!” What would that look like? “Plant a flag. And take the oil and the money.” Can you say payback is a bitch?

1. I wonder how many delegates had this sort of thing happen to them
but were too embarrassed to report it - or did report it but the amounts taken weren't high enough to catch anyone's eye.

2. What's a 29-year-old guy doing with all that bling?
A $5,000 NECKLACE? $4,000 EARRINGS?

Was it really a woman he brought back to his room, or is that the only version his "family values" friends will tolerate?

3. "...he is a regular guest on "Colorado State of Mind"
PIPress has more including this gem:

Schwartz was asked if he had a message to the protesters who filled the streets of downtown St. Paul.

"Get a job," he replied.

7. Another one from the Pioneer Press
Asked by the interviewer how America would pay for a military confrontation with Iran, he said the U.S. should take the country's resources.

"We should plant a flag. Take the oil, take the money," he said. "We deserve reimbursement."

That was the plan for Iraq, invade and fund the war off of oil money. That sure worked out well didn't it?

Also, he has not looked at a topographical map of Iran. He would not be talking that way if he did.

When is he going to enlist to do some of the fighting he wants so badly?

4. Kind of makes me think of John Cleese's character in the "Out of Towners"

6. Typical of the "young conservatives"
He got his dough from either a trust fund or from selling dope.
He loves him some war as long as some other schlub is fighting it.
Fucking asswipe.

8. Glad to see this story here, finally
I've seen it posted in GD about 5 times today and I keep reading it. And I think something about this story really smells funny. Like Ms. Leftcoast said, "$4,000 earrings?" And all that other bling? I don't recall downtown Mpls being THE place to buy diamonds.

This POS is obviously lying through his teeth, and as such, should be called out and perhaps disbarred, if someone there was willing to do some investigating and making a complaint to the Law Board in Colorado.

On the other hand, if it really happened, I say thank you to the karma goddess.

Just a suggestion from a former Minnesotan. :hi:
