My email to Amy Klobuchar regarding the $700 billion.
Feel free to use my words in writing Congress (no need to credit me):

Bush has done a terrible job with money to rebuild Iraq.

Please do NOT give Bush $700 billion to rebuild companies which hold mortgages.

At very least, please remove the passages in the proposed legislation for no-bid contracts and no judicial review.

No bid contracts:
===========================================
...entering into contracts, including contracts for services authorized by section 3109 of title 5, United States Code, without regard to any other provision of law regarding public contracts;
===========================================

No judicial review:
===========================================
Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.
===========================================

We will have a new president on January 20, 2009.

Please wait until then to address the mortgage issue.

1. I changed it a little for Norm Coleman
