Ron Kuby was just discussing extended poll hours on his show and it is important to remind you that
in Minnesota, if you are in line at 8pm tomorrow night, the election judges must allow you to vote. At 8 they can prevent anyone else from joining the line, but they can't keep you from voting if you're already there - even if they have to send out for more ballots to accomodate everyone who is still waiting.

There were problems with this in 2002 in a few areas.

And, the way Kuby was talking it sounds like some states can just shut down voting at the official closing time.
